Saudi Arabia in 2026: Where Capital Is Flowing — and the Domains to Match

Saudi Arabia is going through a large economic transformation. Vision 2030 has opened capital markets, moved public services toward new operators and launched large construction programmes. In 2025 Saudi startups raised a record $1.72 billion (MAGNiTT, via Arab News, January 2026), and the value of contracts awarded on giga-projects reached $196 billion (Knight Frank, via The National, October 2025). For any company entering the Kingdom, the first asset to secure is a name that says Saudi and says what you do.
This article looks at four sectors where money is moving fastest, with the latest figures and their sources, and at the names in our portfolio built for each one.
Figures last checked: October 2026.
1. Venture capital: a record year in 2025
2025 was the strongest year Saudi venture capital has recorded. According to MAGNiTT data reported by Arab News (January 2026), Saudi startups raised $1.72 billion across 257 deals in 2025, up 145% in value and 45% in deal count year on year, making the Kingdom the most active venture market in the Middle East and North Africa by both funding and number of deals. Fintech led the way. Over a longer period, MAGNiTT's 2020–2024 KSA Startup Funding Benchmark counted 626 Saudi startups raising more than $3.86 billion, 32% of all startup funding in the region (Mubasher, February 2025).
After that record, the first half of 2026 was slower: $219 million across 72 deals, down 74% in value and 41% in deal count from a year earlier, with 83% of deals still at early stage (MAGNiTT, via Argaam, August 2026). Early-stage rounds are when founders and new funds choose their names.
Behind the startups sits a growing layer of fund managers. PIF's fund-of-funds Jada keeps backing local managers. In 2026 it committed to Growth Catalyst Fund I, a Saudi private-equity fund targeting SR750 million ($200 million), according to Arab News (July 2026). Each new fund manager is a new brand.

2. Capital markets: Tadawul opens its doors
On 1 February 2026, the Saudi Exchange's Main Market opened to all categories of foreign investors. The qualified-foreign-investor (QFI) requirement was removed and the old swap arrangements were replaced by direct share ownership, as reported by Argaam on 1 February 2026. International ownership in the Saudi market had already passed SAR 590 billion by the end of Q3 2025.
The market itself is one of the largest in the world: listed companies were worth about SAR 8.8 trillion (around $2.35 trillion) at the end of 2025, according to Baker McKenzie (updated February 2026). More foreign investors means more brokers, platforms, research providers and education businesses competing for them, and all of them need to be found in search.

KSA.broker
Broker: a licensed firm or person that buys and sells securities or other assets on behalf of clients.

Financial services in Saudi Arabia are regulated by the Capital Market Authority and the Saudi Central Bank. A domain is a brand, not a licence.
3. Healthcare: hospitals move toward private operators
Under the Health Sector Transformation Program, the Ministry of Health is turning from a hospital operator into a regulator. Services are being moved into the Health Holding Company and its regional health clusters: by mid-2026, more than 130,000 employees in 10 health clusters had been transferred, according to the Ministry of Health (2026). Public–private partnerships, management contracts and new private hospitals all follow from that shift.

4. Construction and giga-projects: contracts at scale
Knight Frank's 2025 giga-projects report, covered by The National (October 2025), put the value of construction contracts awarded for commissioned giga-projects at $196 billion, up 20% on 2024. At Diriyah alone, $5.9 billion of contracts were awarded in 2024 and another $3.7 billion in the first eight months of 2025, and contracts for Neom and its sub-projects have reached about $24 billion.
The pace is not uniform. MEED (December 2025) noted that new giga-project awards slowed in the third quarter of 2025, as the focus shifted from planning to delivering existing projects. Even so, the backlog of awarded work means years of tendering, subcontracting and procurement ahead.
