Venture Capital Domains for MENA: Egypt, the Gulf and Tunisia

Venture capital in the Middle East and North Africa has grown up. Between 2021 and 2025, MENA startups raised $15.4 billion across 3,329 deals, according to MAGNiTT and stc Group (Arab News). A decade ago a founder in Riyadh or Cairo had a handful of regional funds to pitch. Today there are government-backed fund-of-funds programmes, family offices opening venture arms, corporate VCs, accelerators and angel networks, and many more are being set up every year.
Every one of them needs a name, and the name starts with the domain. It is the first thing a founder types, the address on every term sheet and the sender of every email to limited partners. A short, obvious domain tells all of them: this fund is serious, and it is here to stay.
Why “VC” and “PE” domains work
Investors already use the convention. Funds around the world use .vc (the extension of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, widely adopted by venture capital firms), and many put “VC” or “PE” (private equity) directly in their brand. Combined with a country or city, such a name says two things in one word: what you do and where you do it.
The names below follow that pattern for six MENA markets: Egypt and Tunisia in North Africa, and four Gulf states: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Who these names are for
- New funds that want a name founders remember after one meeting.
- Family offices launching a venture or private-equity arm under its own brand.
- Government and corporate programmes: fund-of-funds, innovation agencies and corporate VCs that need a clear, local identity.
- Accelerators and angel networks growing into fund managers.
- Media, events and data platforms covering the region's startup and investment scene.
Why buy the set
A regional platform with an office in each market can use one name per country, all following the same logic of market plus "VC": Masr.vc in Cairo, KSAVC.com in Riyadh, DohaVC.com in Doha, KuwaitVC.com in Kuwait City, BHRVC.com in Manama and TunisiaVC.com in Tunis. The other three complete the set: KSAPE.com and SaudiPE.com cover private equity in Saudi Arabia, and KWTVC.com is the shorter companion to KuwaitVC.com. Owning the set also means no competitor can launch under the neighbouring name.
Six markets, one clear naming logic, and Masr.vc on the venture industry's own extension.
